"PHANTOM

THREAD

(JUST FOR

UKRAINE)"

The concept of the shoot comes from neoclassical drapery studies, I was looking at a photo from my friends Instagram of the Statue of Liberty and how powerful Lady Liberty looked in her minimal attire which led me to the current conflict taking place in Ukraine talks about peace, and how it has affected my Ukrainian friends so I decided to have my friend Elizabeth from Ukraine model a live draping session with the wonderful & talented Tasos Roussos in honour of all the victims of senseless acts of violence.

"AESTHETIC,

ENHANCEMENT"

It is imperative that society gets exposed to the reality of beauty enhancement and get rid of past taboos, such as, natural beauty is true beauty in comparison to medically enhanced beauty.. Some people will go as far as to say that surgery is cheating
Everyones life is fragile and important it is highly suggested that society stops looking at it from a competitive lens and rather a personal one.Beauty is subjective wether someone has had aesthetic enhancements or not we all want to be treated with respect and not be judged.

"LILAC
THOUGHTS"

Silvia De Vecchi Italian grew up in Milano outskirts with a great passion for any form of artistic expression that she deepened with her studies in art history first and then with a museums perspective. Libraries were always familiar places for her, and books were a source of knowledge and a world of inspiration. Now the London Library of IM is a place where she inspires younger students to express their creative potential.

"Once, I was told that if I could be a colour would be lilac, named after a delicate flower. I loved that immediately. In the colour mining, lilac represents innocence, youthfulness, spirituality, and tranquillity, a state I tend to achieve while wearing the colour. Undoubtedly, I was always attracted by shades of purple, such as lavender or mauve, but it was not easy to find them in everyday clothes. When I saw  Patrick working on a garment of that purple shade,  I could not help to stop by and touch that attractive cloth on the table and then I ended up wearing that fabulous dress hand-made in my favourite shade of purple."
